Contract Administrator

We are currently looking for an experienced contract administrator to join our company.  The candidate must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills along with advance level of computer skills. 

Job: Contract Administrator

The Contract Administrator is a vital first step in the residential new home construction business.  The role is responsible for ensuring previously negotiated contracts with builders are entered into our system accurately and within specific requirements.  A summary of the primary responsibilities are:

  • Verifying builder purchase orders match pricing agreements;
  • Loading jobs into the accounting software and field management tool;
  • When necessary, work with the sales organization to update, maintaining, and address pricing issues;
  • Evaluate job margins;
  • Interact with the estimating team to verify quantities and/or rates;
  • Provide research assistance to management as needed; and
  • Meet weekly and monthly deadlines in an expedited manner.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to reach out and ask questions when issues arise
  • The ability to work in a dynamic organization, with fast moving timelines
  • Strong organization and documentation skills
  • Ability to perform research and analytical skills
  • Microsoft Excel – with intermediate skill set (vlookups, pivot tables, and data filtering)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
